Feasibility & route studies
Comparative analysis of technical and economic options, environmental impacts, and voltage levels. We optimize routing to minimize visual and structural impacts, such as the number of tension towers required.
Permitting and stakeholder coordination
Preparation of investigation and project permit applications, including required documentation and stakeholder communication with authorities (ELY, Energy Authority) and grid operators (e.g., Fingrid).
Technical Design
Detailed design of tower placements, conductor profiles, grounding systems, and component specifications. Includes safety assessments such as potential rise studies and induced voltage analysis.
Landowner and site coordination
Landowner lists, advance right-of-entry agreements, and direct communications. On-site evaluations and constructability assessments carried out with both designers and client representatives.
Procurement documentation & support
Preparation of technical specifications, tender documents, and draft construction contracts – clearly defining responsibilities between client and contractor.
Field investigations and markings
Includes tower site markings, soil investigations, earth resistivity measurements, and terrain and vegetation assessments. Where applicable, felling boundaries are also marked to guide future work.
Project Management
We act as the client’s representative throughout the execution phase – managing development, design, procurement, construction, and coordination between stakeholders. Our team ensures your project stays on track, on time, and within budget – whether on-site or via remote project management tools.
Expropriation process support
We prepare expropriation permit applications and support public hearings and compensation procedures in close coordination with landowners and authorities.
Supervision & quality assurance
As independent experts, we ensure that transmission line construction is carried out safely, correctly, and in accordance with plans. We also offer remote inspections using smart glasses and real-time collaboration tools – allowing our experts to monitor multiple sites simultaneously with reduced travel and increased efficiency.
